NVQ L2 Up-skilling Opportunity!

The JIB-PMES is delighted to be able to announce the introduction of a scheme designed specifically to up-skill partially trained plumbing and heating operatives currently working in the industry. Working alongside JTL – the Building Services Engineering sector’s leading Apprenticeship provider, who will be working with and for the JIB-PMES to deliver this initiative – we are now able to provide a full on-site assessment service to facilitate the achievement of full L2 NVQ Plumbing/H&V qualifications. The programme is aimed at those working in the plumbing and heating sector who have completed technical certificate qualifications (e.g. City and Guilds 6129/City and Guilds 6128), but have not completed the appropriate NVQ – which is required to confirm their status within the industry. If this applies to you, or someone you know, then please download the flyer and application form which explain more about the initiative or contact us directly for more information on 0800 197 1060 or info@jib-pmes.org.uk

Why register with the JIB-PMES?

The UK-PHMES CSCS Registration Scheme administered by the JIB-PMES

Registration cards are becoming essential for all trades people working in the Plumbing Industry.

The card shows site managers, employers and other tradespeople that you are qualified for the work you are doing, and have passed a Health & Safety Test.

The Health & Safety Test ensures that you have been trained to the required legal standard, and have the knowledge and competence to keep you and your fellow workers safe and healthy. From an employer's perspective it could improve the chances of winning major contracts and reducing site delays.

Your JIB-PMES card is something to be proud of.
