.The JIB-PMES is pleased to report that the Industrial Parties on the JIB-PMES Board have reached agreement on a new wage deal for 2024 and 2025.
This means that:
- from 01 January 2024, wages and allowances for operatives employed under the National Working Rule Agreement (NWRA) will increase by 7%. HMRC has also confirmed that lodging allowance payable to those employed under the JIB-PMES NWRA will increase from £46.40 to £50.12 from 01 January 2024.
- from 06 January 2025, wages and allowances for operatives employed under NWRA will increase by 5%.
In addition, rates of sickness benefit payable to those operatives employed under JIB-PMES NWRA will increase as follows:
- All operative grades – 9.7% increase in sickness benefit payable from 01 January 2024
- All operative grades – 8.8% increase in sickness benefit payable from 06 January 2025.
Details of the Agreement have already been promulgated to JIB-PMES participants and an updated version of the JIB-PMES National Working Rule Agreement handbook (for 2024 & 2025) will be available before year end.
